Megha Moncy is a security professional currently serving on the OmniSOC Services team, where she focuses on the OSG, ACCESS and Trusted CI projects. She serves as a Trusted CI Ambassador, promoting cybersecurity awareness, collaboration, and the adoption of best practices across research facilities such as EarthScope, NRAO, NSO, and US ATLAS.
Her unique journey from dentistry to cybersecurity exemplifies her adaptability, continuous learning and diverse problem-solving skills. Active in the Cyber Infrastructure Community, Megha has worked collaboratively with Security and System Engineers at NCSA through NSF-funded programs such as ACCESS STEP and CIP internship. She has presented and co-authored four research papers and contributed to an undergraduate Informatics handbook on Information Security and Threat Prevention. Her commitment to excellence was recently recognized when she was honored as one of IU Indianapolis' Elite 50 for 2024.
